Using education to break the poverty cycle

We have an inspiring opportunity to acquire a building in Sri Lanka and transform it into a Christian education and conference center. The Center of Hope will be a space dedicated to fostering spiritual growth and community development

We are seeking generous donations to bring this vision to life and make a lasting impact in the lives of believers and the local community.

Spiritual Enrichment

International Exposure

By providing education opportunities for the poorer regions, we create a space to break the generational curse of poverty. Our pilot project proves that education makes a radical difference.

The conference center will facilitate community engagement initiatives, such as conducting educational programs, organising medical camps, providing vocational training and offering support to underprivileged individuals and families.

We will host leadership development programs and workshops to equip pastors, church leaders and ministry workers with the necessary skills and knowledge to serve their communities well.

Offering conferences, seminars, family camps and workshops will provide a space for people to explore their spiritual belief in everyday life.

The conference centre will serve as a hub for hosting national and international Christian conferences, fostering collaboration, cross-cultural exchange, and unity within the global Christian community.

First, we need to purchase the property. The church is position with a unique opportunity. There is the possibility to purchase land with high visibility and great access. The land available will increase the property to accomodate the education centre.

The Church currently has approximately 775m’, the expansion wil provide an additional 1000m’. We will also be making initial alterations to the existing buildings in preparation for the next phase.

The construction of the conference center has three levels. It will have two levels (a car park and auditorium) that will each have 760m2.

The auditorium on the second floor hold more than 700 people at one time. However, it will be designed to accomodate smaller groups and will be multifunctional. It will be designed with the future in mind and make allowance for advancing technology – including live streaming and webcasting.

The third floor will join with the existing building and create Sri Lanka’s first inner city playground. It will include undercover play areas, play equipment which will be used for education and social activities. The area will also be designed to include a indoor cricket area. In addition, there will be a small food court for parents while their children are at play.
