PROJECTS
Community Cupboard
Care for those struggling with the pressures of life, financial hardship, and survivors of abuse.
COMING SOON!
Thank you for your interest in our Community Cupboard. At the moment we are waiting for the ACNC and the ATO to finalize our application for Not-For-Profit Charity and PBI. As soon as we have this status, we will be able to acquire the resources and network to activate this project.
At Hand to Plough, we believe that belevolant care is required to help those facing crisis. That’s why we are committed to supporting individuals and families needing benevolant support. Our Community Cupboard is a resource offering essential food and supplies to those who need it most.
How It Works
The Community Cupboard operates as a free-access pantry where people facing hardship can collect groceries and basic necessities with dignity and respect. Whether it’s non-perishable food, hygiene products, or household essentials, our goal is to provide practical relief for those in times of distress and crisis.
Who Can Access It?
The cupboard is open to anyone experiencing financial difficulties, including individuals, families, seniors, and those in crisis situations. There are no complicated eligibility requirements—just a simple, community-driven initiative designed to lend a helping hand.
How We Stock the Cupboard
Hand to Plough partners with local businesses, supermarkets, community groups, and generous individuals to keep the cupboard stocked. Donations of non-perishable goods, fresh produce, and personal care items help ensure that those in need always have access to essential supplies.
Get Involved
You can support the Community Cupboard by:
- Donating food or supplies – Every contribution helps make a difference.
- Volunteering your time – Assist with stocking, organizing, or distributing goods.
- Spreading the word – Let those in need know that help is available.
At Hand to Plough, we believe in community supporting community. Through the Community Cupboard, we are not just providing food—we are offering hope, dignity, and practical relief to those who need it most.
